Overview
Only into the second year, the fifth-generation 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe hits the hallmark of a full-size SUV. This Chevy's large SUV is a best-seller in the US, thanks to its roomy cabin, high towing capacity, and loaded features. Chevy has tweaked Tahoe's trim lineup and feature list this year. The 2022 Chevy Tahoe is back for sale with some changes to the trim lineup. The major changes include the availability of the 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8 on the RST, Z71, and Premier trim levels. Also, the off-road-oriented Z71 adds an electronic limited-slip differential, too. The MSRP for a rear-drive 2022 Tahoe starts at $49,700 for base LS trim and goes up to the High Country trim, whose rear-drive version costs $70,000. The base 355-hp 5.3L V8 delivers decent performance but the optional 420-hp 6.2L V8 is the go-to option for brisk acceleration as it can do the 0-60 MPH test in 5.9 seconds.

Unlike its rivals, the Tahoe is also offered a diesel engine that is known for its excellent fuel efficiency. Its cabin is the roomiest in this segment with a mind-blowing cargo capacity. It packs all the latest features, be it technology or comfort, and for 2022, Tahoe features new technological features and exterior color options. The Tahoe also adds a few more safety features as standard this year, which is a great move. The Tahoe is in direct competition with the likes of the Ford Expedition, the Nissan Armada, and the Toyota Sequoia.
