That's a whopping $500 price hike for a carryover model! While it is one of the most promising upcoming Subaru cars, the Subaru Ascent hybrid 2024 is still a miss.Â
The 2024 Subaru Ascent specs are unchanged this year and hence get the same 2.3L turbocharged H4 with 260 hp and 277 lb-ft output which is paired with a CVT automatic transmission and standard AWD drivetrain. With that, it manages a 0-60 of 6.9 seconds and boasts a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds which is enough to haul snowmobiles or even an Airstream camper. The Subaru Ascent 2024 is a proud member of the SUV segment, locking horns with SUVs like the Honda Pilot, the Ford Explorer, the Toyota Highlander, and the latest Mazda CX-90.
