Comparative Analysis against Competition

When a car is at the end of its generation, it's our natural advice to wait a bit and go for the newer model when it arrives later. The Enclave wasn’t an exception either. It looked outdated and felt like it needed an update, and that’s what exactly Buick did.

Say hello to the all-new 2025 Buick Enclave entering its third generation of production.

For 2025, Buick has increased the pricing by only $1,100, even though it’s a whole new generation.

Now, it comes with three trim levels, Preferred, Sport Touring, & Avenir. None of these get the V6 engine anymore, instead, you have a 2.5-liter four-pot engine as standard.

Engine and Performance

The 2025 Buick Enclave comes standard with a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This is a DOHC unit producing 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels as standard.

For better traction and performance, Buick is offering AWD setup at a premium of $2,000. This was the same amount in the earlier generation, and there’s no change in it.

Interior

Buick Almost Maybach-fied The 2025 Enclave

The 2025 Buick Enclave has one of the most magnificent interiors in the market this year. The attention to detail in the Avenir trim is crazy! You have soft touch all around and the contrasting stitches make it look charming.

Our new Enclave gets a beautifully designed 30-inch curved display that houses the driver’s information display as well as the touchscreen infotainment setup. Complimenting that, it’s got a finely crafted three-spoke steering wheel.

Overall the driver-seat view feels like a $100,000 car for sure!

The middle-row seats are adjustable as well, especially the lean angle of the backrest. The headroom is good enough even for tall people, and the legroom is decent too. We only find the thigh support to be quite less, especially if you’re 6 feet and above.

Rear seats are preferably suited for children. Adults can fit in but it won’t be comfortable on long journeys.

However, everywhere you look, the whole cabin of the 2025 Buick Enclave gives a very premium vibe. Surrounded by stitches on the seats, wooden trims on the center console, and a huge panoramic sunroof, the whole cabin feels luxurious enough to convince you to ignore the BMW X3.

The Genesis GV70 sounds like a proper competition though!

Exterior

The 2025 Buick Enclave Has A New Character

On witnessing the 2025 Buick Enclave for the first time, it felt like the SUV had come out of its tamed nature. Previously, it looked like a humble family car, but now it looks like a proper SUV!

The 2025 Enclave’s whole new front end feels aggressive, it has a rugged vibe thanks to the skid plates and a muscular design language. The headlamps are cleverly housed alongside the grille to make it look sleek. And the DRLs up above give it a futuristic touch.

Complimenting the SUV design, the side profile feels a bit taller than before. We love the alloys available in all the trim levels. The Sport Touring trim has a young vibe with the diamond cut alloys while the Avenir gets a more luxurious-looking set of alloy wheels to ball around the city.

And just like the front, the rear profile also looks fantastic. The 2025 Buick Enclave has got a lot of edges and curves at the back, but surprisingly it doesn’t feel overdone or something, moreover, it looks perfect!

Final Verdict

Overall, the 2025 Buick Enclave feels like it’s a proper competitor in the segment that can go toe to toe with Acura MDX, Genesis GV70, or even Germans like the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC.

The quality has improved drastically from the past generation. The interior feels roomier as well, and that’s a plus! We have yet to check out the drive feedback, as the media units are still not released for testing. Once we have that, we can finally talk about how this brand-new car rides with the smaller engine.

Other than that, the 2025 Buick Enclave looks like a very promising product in terms of an overall package.

Buying Advice

The 2025 Buick Enclave comes in three different trim levels- Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir. Here’s a quick look at how they’re priced and set up

Trim

MSRP

Important Features

Preferred

$46,395

  • Heated front seats with lumbar support
  • 12-speaker Bose premium sound system.

Sport Touring

$48,795

  • Flat-bottom steering wheel.
  • Machine-cut sportier alloy rims.

Avenir

$59,395

  • Head Up display
  • Panoramic Sunroof
  • 22” Alloy Rims
  • LED Headlamps & taillamps with animation.

Since there are not a lot of trim levels of the 2025 Buick Enclave, it’s quite simple to choose the right Enclave for you. The Avenir trim is all-out luxury and it’s a no-brainer choice if you are a fan of exquisiteness.

However, you have to spend about $13,000 premium over the base spec for that luxury.

If you don’t want to spend as much, both the Preferred and Sport Touring trims are also quite enjoyable. They have a luxury vibe and a futuristic touch, and I love how they designed the interior and exterior.

I find the Sport Touring a bit more sensible, it looks a bit better and the $2,400 justifies the additions like the machine-cut alloys, gloss black moldings, perforrated leatherette seat trims
