The base L and 1LT trim along with the naturally aspirated engine have been discontinued for 2022. The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer's trim lineup now starts from 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. The prices of the 2022 Blazer have gone up a bit, the 2LT is on sale at a price of $33,400. The Chevy Safety Assist is now standard across the range along with power-adjustable seats. The 3LT comes at a price tag of $37,600 and adds leather upholstery and Bose Premium 8-Speaker Audio System in pairing with 4.2-inch diagonal color Driver Information Center. 

As a sporty RS model, the 2022 Blazer is priced at $41,100 (FWD) and $44,000 (AWD). The Premier starts at $42,700 for the FWD model and $44,900 with AWD. The RS trim also gets standard 20-inch wheels instead of the base 18-inch ones. The Premier receives Extended Leather Upholstery. The Adaptive Cruise Control and Ambient Interior Lighting are other valuable assets on offer that accompany the 8-inch diagonal color Driver Information Center in this configuration.

The 2022 Blazer with the turbo-four and FWD returns the best EPA estimated fuel economy ratings at 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. Upgrading to the V6 drops the gas mileage to 19/27 mpg city/highway. With a 19.4-gallon fuel tank, the driving range goes up to 523 miles.

Considering the comparison, the Hyundai Santa Fe is almost 3 MPG more fuel-efficient and thus offers 42 miles more range than the Blazer. The RAV4 is also more efficient than the Chevrolet Blazer by some 7 MPG but its 5-gallon smaller fuel tank reduces the range by a gap of 11 miles against the latter.

The interior of the 2022 Chevy Blazer is a blend of spaciousness and premium accents. The transition does occur from premium cloth in the 2LT to Jet Black Perforated Leatherette in 3LT to Maple Sugar Perforated Leather Upholstery in the Premier trim. Along with that comes the 8-way driver and 6-way passenger power adjustable seats in the front as standard from 3LT trim onward that can be upgraded to ventilated and heating functions in the Premier trim.  

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer gets 60/40-split rear seats in the back. This allows one to have a cargo capacity ranging from 30.5 cu-ft to 64.2 cu-ft at max once folded. The 2022 Chevy Blazer remains unchanged dimension-wise and retains that Camaro-like design philosophy. However, there are new exterior colors available such as the Nitro Yellow Metallic and Blue Glow Metallic. In addition to these, there are 7 other exterior accents too. Moreover, the IntelliBeam auto high beam and High-Intensity Discharge Headlamps make up for the front fascia appeal and functionality. 

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer rides on 18-inch, 20-inch, and 21-inch wheels with respective all-season Blackwall tires. It can be opted with a power programmable liftgate in the rear and panoramic power sunroof on top depending on the trim level. If base stance does not suffice you, one can avail of the Midnight/Sport Edition and Redline Edition at price tags of $645 and $1,895 respectively for the 3LT trim.   

According to data, the Chevy Blazer is 200 lbs lighter than the Edge but has a 0.6-inch less ground clearance than the latter. On the other hand, the Santa Fe comes out to be more compact as it is 200 lbs lighter, 4-inch shorter, and 2-inch less wide than the Blaze. This helps Santa Fe in having better off-road handling and driving pursuit.
