The base 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe LS trim comes with a 5.3L V8 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Here, the driver jumps to 60 mph in 7.61 seconds. Meanwhile, in Motortrend's test (which doesn’t specify the trim), the 355-hp making Tahoe does 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds.

The 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 gets power from a standard 5.3L V8 engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The net output of 355 horsepower allows the driver to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 7.68 seconds which is 0.18 seconds slower than the time achieved by the Car and Driver. Here, the pov is replaced with the 2025 model as the 2024 model year pov was unavailable.

The 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country comes with a standard 6.2L V8 engine which is optional on other trims. It makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Here, the driver goes from 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds which is also the same time taken by the Tahoe High Country in Morotrend test.
