The 2022 Civic is the most upscale Civic model yet, thus having an upper hand over its predecessors. The interiors of the 2022 Honda Civic have been designed with a focus on driver and passenger comfort. The honeycomb design with a horizontal theme neatly hides the AC vents and runs throughout the dash separating the infotainment and HVAC control is truly eye-catching and adds to space. As for the cabin space on offer, the front row seats are almost similar in all the sedans here and the real fight is at the rear. At the rear, the Elantra takes the lead by offering the best rear headroom and legroom while the rear shoulder room is slightly better in the Civic which in turn sits below the Elantra in terms of rear-seat space. As for the cargo capacity, the Civic is, without doubt, the one with the biggest trunk followed by the Elantra. While the Corolla not only lacks rear-seat space but also comes with the smallest trunk among all the sedans here.

The 2022 Honda Civic has undergone a radical design change than its predecessor, making it look mature and subdued. Starting at the front the windshield pillars have been pushed back by 2-inches to elongate the bonnet. While the side mirrors have been shifted to the doors and that coupled with the lower beltline offers improved visibility. Finishing the side looks is the sharp shoulder line running from the front fender to the rear taillights.

Although when it comes to the wheelbase, the Civic offers the longest wheelbase in the class which is 0.6-inches more than what you get in the Elantra. Another thing worth noting here is that the Mazda 3 is not only the heavier sedan but also the one with the higher ground clearance. While the Corolla remains the dimensionally smaller sedan among all, which explains why it has lesser cabin space.
