Buying Advice

The number of trims on offer on the Camry is 8, 5 of which have two drivetrain options making up a total of 13 variations available for the sedan. We would recommend our readers to decide on a budget and look for the variant that is available in the budget. According to us, the XSE FWD variant would be the optimal choice in this segment as it offers a decent list of features and since it is equipped with a smaller engine, it will offer good fuel economy also.

Comparative Analysis against Competition

The Camry nametag has garnered high regard thanks to its robust build quality and low cost of maintenance. Therefore, the 2023 Toyota Camry reliability rating of 82/100 by J.D. Power is also the best in the business. Expect the Toyota Camry 5-year cost of ownership to also be competitive at around the $36,000 ballpark. Add to that the 2-years/25,000 miles complimentary maintenance package, the Toyota offers the most value for your money.

The Toyota Camry 2023 gets an unchanged powertrain and hence continues to offer the same level of frugality that it is known for over the years. Both the standard FWD and the optional AWD drivetrains are pretty efficient as the new Camry offers 28/39 MPG in city/highway conditions as per the EPA in its standard guise.

In terms of the exterior design, the 2023 Camry redesign has been postponed to next year and yet it offers an individualistic and aggressive fascia. 2023 Toyota Camry vs 2022 Honda Accord

The competition between Honda and Toyota could leave any car enthusiast confused, especially when it comes to these two models. End of the day it boils down to each individual's brand loyalty. Both cars are highly competitive, both have been in the market for a long time trading blows with each other every year. The crown for the best midsize sedan in the segment has been changing hands between these two Japanese models for quite some time. The Accord fairs better in terms of performance, fuel economy, interior space, and cargo. We would recommend the Camry over the Accord since it offers better reliability.

2023 Toyota Camry vs 2022 Nissan Altima

Nissan has been trying very hard to steal the position of the Camry and the Accord. The 2022 Altima is also a good family car and scores well in our comparison but falls behind in largely all aspects against the Camry except for affordability by a few dollars. Hence, we would recommend the Toyota 2023 Camry over the 2022 Nissan Altima.

2023 Toyota Camry vs 2022 Hyundai Sonata

We observe the case to be the same as the 2022 Hyundai Sonata. The Korean manufacturer seems lagging behind the Toyota Camry largely in all aspects be it performance, fuel economy, or safety. Hyundai performs well in minor areas which we feel are insignificant. For example, the boot space on the Sonata is better than Camry by a few cubic feet. Apart from these minor areas, the 2023 Camry is the clear winner against the 2022 Hyundai Sonata.

Final Verdict

The new Toyota Camry 2023 model is perfect for those looking for an affordable, family-sized sedan with a comfortable, and easy-to-live-with-driving experience. It's roomy and spacious, thanks to a design that maximizes the feeling of airiness and visibility. And, with a wide range of engine choices and interior features available, there's one for every budget. On top of this, the reliability offered by Toyota vehicles is unmatched and they have been known to run for ages. We also feel this will be the last model of this design generation hence we would suggest the older owners who wish to upgrade to wait a year more as we expect a redesigned model in 2024.

              Karolina's Toyota Camry

Pros - ["It is a hybrid", "It has heated seats"]

Cons - ["It's color", "The non leather seats"]

Overall I love the car. I love the heated seats and let's not forget the sunroof. It performs well it has 16000 miles on it. The interior quality is excellent. I love how it has side door air bags I generally love that extra safety.

              Impeccable

Pros - ["The speed insane", "Handling. Insane"]

Cons - ["Gas mileage", "Low exhaust noise"]

I love the 2023 Toyota Camary XSE. Its by far one of the fastest and most reliable vehicles toyota has ever manufactured. For the price, its unbeatable in performance compared to Bmx or Mercedes. It has 301hp and goes fro 0to60 in less than seconds. It also has automonus driving and for the price of under 40k, you cant beat that, in my opinion. Its the most slept on vehicle for 2023..
