2023 Acura TLX

The 2023 Acura TLX is hoped to be available in four trims namely Base, Technology, A-Spec, and Advance and this is not official as of now. All these models will have the availability of an all-wheel drive system as an addition. The price of the 2023 Acura TLX starts from $40,000 and goes up to $48,000 for the top-end model. The car is loaded with features that include an adaptive suspension, a blind spot monitoring system, ventilated seats, and a 10.2-inch infotainment system across various trims. For 2023, there will also be Type S and Type S PMC trims available for the sedan and these models will be performance oriented.

Since there is no official announcement regarding the trims, a recommended trim is not possible as of now. But with the information we have and without considering the performance trims, the top-end Advance trim with an all-wheel drive system makes more sense. The adaptive suspension it has to offer will surely justify its price difference over the other trims.

Release Date

There is no official confirmation regarding the release date. However, the 2023 Acura TLX release date is expected to be slated by the end of this year.

The fuel efficiency of the 2023 Acura TLX is a little bit disappointing, and surely it is not a very frugal car. The car has a mileage of 22 MPG in the city, 31 MPG on the highway, and combined mileage of 25 MPG. The competition offers better fuel efficiency than the Acura and the car is beaten up by almost all rivals when fuel efficiency numbers are taken into care. The overall range provided by the compact sedan is also on the lower side, it has a combined range of 421.35 miles which is the lowest in the segment.

The interiors in the 2023 Acura TLX are very welcoming and the seats offer good comfort. Every kind of person can find a perfect driving position with the seating adjustments offered in the car. The tilt and telescopic steering wheel add to this advantage. The doors open widely and ingress and egress are easy. The rear row comfortability is on the lower side and tall folks will surely feel cramped in the backside of the car. Even though the Acura is more affordable than the competition that doesn’t reflect on the interior quality of the car. Synthetic leather upholstery is standard on all trims of the sedan and an option of genuine leather upholstery is also available. Good quality materials are used throughout the interiors. How intuitive is the 2023 Acura TLX’s infotainment system?

Apart from the issue of the touchpad, the infotainment system on the 2023 Acura TLX works great. The maps provided with an integrated navigation system are crystal clear and are very easy to use. It comes with Android Auto and Apple Carplay but the wireless option is not available which is a bummer. The rear row misses out on USB ports, which is not a good thing considering the segment the car fits into.

The Volvo S60 has the best ground clearance of 5,8 inches followed by the Lexus IS 300 and Acura with 5.5 inches and 5.3 inches respectively and the others in the segment share almost identical ground clearance.
