Cadillac is an American luxury icon and its cars of always pushed the envelope in terms of what our home-grown products have offered. The current edgy design theme does seem to work well with a lot of owners and a fair share of convenience features and premium materials make the car stand out among European rivals. The 2019 Cadillac XT5 is a car that promises spacious interiors, plush ride quality, and premium design.

Starting at an MSRP of $42,690 is on the slightly expensive side for something even considering its rivals. The trim lineup consists of Base, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum along with a sufficient amount of optional extras. Although there are plenty of options offered by Cadillac, we feel that the best way to start off is by choosing the Premium Luxury variant. This includes features like an excellent 14 speaker audio system from Bose, navigation, automated emergency braking, and other safety features as well. As far as optional extras go, we would choose the adaptive suspension and stick with the front-wheel-drive powertrain.
