Overview

The 2019 BMW 3 Series makes for an excellent contender in the compact sedan class. With 2 trims on offer, the BMW 3 Series has a base MSRP of $40,250, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $42,250, competing directly with the Audi A4, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and the Jaguar XE. Only a 2.0L turbocharged Inline-4 engine is offered, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, the BMW 3 Series maintains a combined fuel economy of 28 MPG. BMW offers the 3 Series in 12 stunning colors, with the Portimao Blue Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.

With only 2 trim levels available for the 3 Series sedan based on the drivetrain configuration, we recommend opting for the all-wheel-drive 330i xDrive model.
