The 2019 BMW ALPINA B7 Sedan makes for an excellent contender in the fullsize sedan class. With a single trim on offer, the BMW Alpina B7 has a base MSRP of $139,350 and competes directly with the Maserati Quattroporte GTS, the Porsche Panamera Turbo Sedan, and the Mercedes-Benz AMG S 63 Sedan. Only a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine is offered, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, the Alpina B7 maintains a combined fuel economy of 20 MPG. BMW offers the Alpina B7 in 11 stunning colors, with the Alpina Green Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

With AWD, a wide variety of standard and optional features, decent driving performance, and utmost comfort, the 2019 BMW Alpina B7 justifies the budged-up price tag pretty well. We would recommend buying it along with the optional Driving Assistance Plus Package which costs an additional $1,700 and adds multiple safety and convenience features.
