Overview

The 2019 Lincoln Continental is a midsize sedan offered in 4 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $46,145. For that price, it mainly competes with the Cadillac XTS, the Volvo S90, and the Genesis G80. The base engine is a 3.7L V6 engine capable of making 305 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. If more power is required, there is also a 335 horsepower-making 2.7L Twin-turbocharged V6 engine and a 400 horsepower generating 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine. All 3 engines are mated to a 6-Speed Automatic transmission. The Continental sedan 60 MPH from zero in 6.4 seconds on its base engine, which gets pumped up to 5.9 seconds with the 2.7L twin-turbocharged V6 engine and 5.5 seconds with the 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Depending on the powertrain, the Continental sedan can manage a combined fuel economy between 19 and 21 MPG. While we're on the topic of choices, the 9 striking colors the Continental sedan comes in really pull you towards itself.

Buying Advice

The 2019 Lincoln Continental sedan is offered in 4 trim levels, 3 powertrains, and multiple configurations. Our recommendation is the Reserve trim level that comes standard with a 2.7L twin-Turbocharged V6 engine, adjustable seats, heated rear seats, and also offers a standard Tech Package.
