Overview

The 2017 Lincoln Continental is a midsize sedan offered in 4 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $44,720. For that price, it mainly competes with the Cadillac CTS, the Genesis G80, and the Kia K900 Between 4 trims, the Lincoln Continental offers 3 powertrains. The base engine is a 3.7L V6 capable of making 305 hp horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. If more power is required, there is also a 400 horsepower 3.0L V6 engine. Both engines are mated to a 6-Speed Automatic transmission.

The Lincoln Continental reaches 60 MPH from zero in 6.8 seconds on its base engine. Depending on the powertrain, the Lincoln Continental can manage a combined fuel economy between 21 and 20 MPG.

Buying Advice

Since the base trim comes with pretty much all the comfort features, it is more likely to be enough for most people and their needs. If you want to get the most value out of your money, the Select trim might just be the right one for you. It gets you covered with some of the significant features like power-folding exterior mirrors, hands-free trunk opening, leather upholstery, wood accents on the steering wheel, and more.
