Overview

The Lincoln MKZ is a midsize sedan offered in 4 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $35,170. For that price, it mainly competes with the Acura TLX, the Infiniti Q60, and the Audi A4. Between 4 trims, the Lincoln MKZ offers 2 powertrains. The base trim comes with a 2.0L Turbocharged Inline-4 engine making 188 horsepower and 129 lb-ft of torque. However, there is a choice between the drivetrain. You can either have it as front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Lincoln MKZ reaches 60 MPH from zero in 7.8 seconds on its base engine, which gets pumped up to 5.2 seconds with the V6 engine.

Buying Advice

The Reserve trim with the AWD drivetrain should be the way to go as it happens to find the sweet spot in the trim lineup. It boasts the powertrain of the top Black label trim and the comfort levels of the mid-range trim for an additional $4,000. Moreover, the AWD version gets more power and gives a sense of safety during bad weather conditions.

              Lincoln MKZ HYBRID outstanding car

Pros - ["Full sized sedan (MKZ hybrid) gets over 42 mpg. Only about $2000 spent in repairs with almost 220,000 miles on it now. Luxury ride and great looking car.", ". high milage . low maintenance costs . great look . great interior . smooth ride"]

Cons - ["Not much. Entertainment functions could be better, does not even have android play or mapping.", ". not great entertainment system . no andriod play . no mapping"]

To start, it is a full size luxury sedan that seats 5 comfortably and gets over 42 miles per gallon. Has plenty of power, quite easy ride, and looks great. Now has 218,000 miles and minor issues and still a dependable ride. Interior still looks like new.. Oil changes are every 10,000 miles. Has no starter, alternator, and transmission is a single gear sealed unit, so no fluid changes nor shifting...
