Overview

The 2017 Chrysler 200 is a midsize sedan offered in 5 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $22,115. For that price, it mainly competes with the Ford Fusion, the Subaru Legacy, and the Toyota Camry. Between 5 trims, the 200 offers 2 powertrains. The base engine is a 2.4L Inline-4 engine capable of making 184 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. If more power is required, there is also a 295 horsepower-making 3.6L V6. Both engines are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The Chrysler 200 reaches 60 MPH from zero in 8.4 seconds on its base engine, which gets pumped up to 5.8 seconds with the 3.6L V6. Depending on the powertrain, the Chrysler 200 can manage a combined fuel economy between 22 and 27 mpg. While we’re on the topic of choices, the 7 striking colors the Chrysler 200 comes in really pull you towards itself.

Buying Advice

We highly recommend the mid-level Limited Platinum seems like the real deal here considering the features offered for the price. On top of that, the MOPAR Interior Package ($310) and the MOPAR Single Exhaust Body Kit ($1,200) improve the car inside out.
