Overview

The 2017 Cadillac CTS Sedan is a midsize sedan class offered in 3 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $45,995. For that price, it mainly competes with the Audi A6, the Dodge Charger Daytona Sedan, and the BMW 5 Series. Between 5 trims, the Cadillac CTS offers two powertrains. The base engine is a 2.0L turbo inline-4 gas engine capable of making 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. If more power is required, there is also a 335 horsepower-making 3.6L V6 engine. All engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Cadillac CTSreaches 60 mph from zero in 6 seconds on its base engine, which gets pumped up to 5.7 seconds with the 3.6L V6. Depending on the powertrain, the Cadillac CTS can manage a combined fuel economy of between 25 and 22 MPG. While we're on the topic of choices, the 9 striking colors the Cadillac CTS comes in really pull you towards itself.

Buying Advice

We would recommend the luxury trim of the 2017 Cadillac CTS, it has a much better interior than the base and features like adaptive cruise control, remote engine starter heated seats, and much more. If that is not enough and you want to make your Caddy look even cooler go for the Carbon black package ($1,800) which comes with V-spoilers, performance seats, blacked-out interior,r, and a specially designed set of alloy wheels.
