Overview

The 2018 Cadillac CTS Sedan is a midsize sedan offered in 3 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $46,295. For that price, it mainly competes with the Acura RLX the Volvo S90, and the Audi A6. Between 3 trims, the CTS offers 2 powertrains. The base engine is a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4 capable of making 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. If more power is required, there is also a 335 horsepower-making 3.6L V6 engine. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The CTS reaches 60 MPH from zero in 6.1 seconds on its base engine, which gets pumped up to 5.7 seconds with the V6 engine. Depending on the powertrain, the CTS can manage a combined fuel economy between 24 and 25 MPG. While we're on the topic of choices, the 9 striking colors the CTS comes in really pull you towards itself. quot;Gold Ponyquot; and we have observed that quot;you don#39;t have exterior road noise coming into the cabin and it upholds its luxury namequot;. Check out more on this video.

Buying Advice

If you’re looking for a feature-packed car that offers a decent amount of driving performance as well, we suggest considering the Luxury trim with the V6 engine. This engine returns with almost the same fuel economy as the 4-cylinder, however, gets a significant bump in the power. Some of the standard standout features on this trim include a panoramic sunroof, Bose 13-speaker system, navigation system, etc.
