2024 BMW 5 Series

The all-new 2024 BMW 5-Series is finally here after many speculations, starting the eighth generation of this midsize luxury sedan. The 5-Series 2024 offers a very close experience to the 7-Series, at least in terms of comfort features. The 2024 BMW 5-Series trim configurations include the 530i, 530i xDrive, and 540i xDrive. As with other BMW cars, the xDrive stands for AWD. The MSRP of the 2024 BMW 5 Series starts at $57,900 for the 530i model, excluding the destination fee of $995.

The 2024 BMW 530i xDrive and 540i xDrive are priced at $60,200 and $64,900, respectively. The 2024 BMW 530i can be financed for a term of 60 months at a low APR of 2.99% and $2,500 as a down payment. Similarly, it can be leased for a term of 36 months with monthly payments of $784 and $2,500 as a down payment. The annual mileage limit is 10,000 miles. Of course, these calculations will vary as per trim configurations, location, and credit score.

Under the hood of the 530i trims is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. With this engine, the 530i and 530i xDrive sedans do a 0–60 sprint in 5.9 seconds and 5.8 seconds, respectively. However, the 540i xDrive trim gets the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine, making 375 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. It does a 0 to 60 sprint in 4.4 seconds.

The 2024 BMW 5-Series received an overall score of 79/100 in the J.D. Power Consumer Rating. For reliability and resale, it scored 82/100 and 70/00, respectively. For the driving and dealership experience, it scored 79/100 and 83/100, respectively.
