The 2024 Acura MDX provides okay-ish braking performance and does not feel that assertive. Although it comes with big front and rear brake rotors that are more sturdy, does not feel, and perform well because of the electric boosters. The brake pedals feel quite soft and do not provide good feedback. But other than all the bad things about the brakes and the braking system the Acura MDX also provides ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution, and brake assist to enhance braking performance in case of a situation when the mushy brakes are required. Overall it can be said that the Acura SUV provides a very okayish or below-average braking performance and this is one of the aspects where it falls below in its segment.
