Overview
An update was long due for Infiniti’s reasonably compact, premium Midsize SUV, the QX50 now. The 2019 model year sees the introduction of a vastly improved version of this SUV with a completely revised and stylish exterior with an equally impressive and tech-loaded cabin. This year also sees the introduction of Nissan's new variable compression engine on the QX50 lineup boasting accessible and smooth performance from the powertrain combined with noticeable improvement in fuel economy figures.
The 2019 Infiniti QX50 is made available in three standard trims at launch, with the range kicking off with the base Pure trim. The prices are set to go from around $36,650 for the entry-level trim while fully packed Essential trims would set you back over $43,450. All trims will come in RWD configuration as standard with AWD setup available across the range for an extra $2,000. The infinity QX50 will be sharing its market spaces with midsize SUVs like the Acura RDX, the Cadillac XT5, and the Buick Envision as far as pricing goes.
