"Lexus has chosen fine materials for the RX's interior, including soft leather, textured metallic or wood trims, and soft-touch plastics." -Car and Driver
The Lexus RX 350 gets a well-crafted cabin, which offers not only a comfortable and luxurious feel but also shields out the road and wind noise. The quiet cabin is nicely complemented by a great fit and finish level. Seats are well cushioned and comfy, both in the front and rear, and the space inside is extremely generous. Coupled with easy ingress and egress, the RX 350 SUV races ahead in terms of seating and comfort. The suspension only accentuates the premium feel and comfort of this luxury SUV. Except for the minor grouse of not so ergonomic placement of a couple of switches and knobs the cabin is among the best you can get under fifty grands.
The 2020 Lexus RX 350 offers an all-new infotainment system with an 8.0-inch display as standard. You have the option to upgrade to a better, wider 12.3-inch display too, which is much easier to use and delivers crisp picture quality even under direct sunlight. You also get Voice Command, Lexus Enform Remote Smartphone integration, HD Radio, navigation, satellite radio, and Bluetooth for connectivity. However, the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto this year remains the talking point. Coming to the audio part you get a 9-speaker setup as standard while the bigger screen gets a 12-speaker set up both of which can be upgraded to a premium 15-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system.
Cargo capacity in the Lexus RX 350 is pretty great, with 18.4 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Fold the rear passenger seats though, and you will be greeted by an amazing capacity of 56.3 cubic feet. You can carry pretty much everything in the trunk, and if your family loves weekend excursions, you can also pack enough luggage for everyone.

The high seats make for a very commanding driving position and a good view of the road. There are also enough adjustments to find the perfect seating position aided by the available memory settings. The front seats are also heated and ventilated for added comfort and convenience. The cabin space inside the RX 350 is also among the best in the class while the MDX is the only exception here that offers seating for seven as standard. However, all other rivals except for the MDX offer a larger cargo capacity than the Lexus RX 350, with the Q5 leading the pack with a cargo capacity of 25.1 cubic feet and followed closely by the GLC 300 with 19.4 cubic feet of cargo space.
