... get an old fashioned remote system installed on my new 2020 rx350 only to be told that it would void my warranty. WHAT! I’m actually sorry that I bought this car because it has tons of conveniences that I like but this is a major one that makes owning this car a problem.Read More

Very sad overall experience and the customer service from Lexus IS absolutely insulting and feels their vehicle could never be a lemon. I’ve been locked out of the vehicle numerous times when doors won’t open, the infotainment system is pathetic. The appRead More

... not to bad but the highway economy is poor 21.1mpg but it jumped to 24.7mpg when using premium—on the same road trip. To sum it up this is the most non Lexus vehicle we have owned, the build quality is not there, to many cheap Toyota parts, transmission should have been sorted out by now, should have left the manufacturing in Japan. For the price I don’t recommend this, the hybrid is the one to buy or one of the Germans. Update: took it back to LexusRead More

The fourth generation Lexusreceives a much-needed semi-reboot that rebalances the sense of style and efforts to try to solve the midsize premium SUV's rich multimedia. The 2020 Lexus RX is intended to be a slightly elevated vehicle that will leave consumers impressed. The performance of the RX 350 is adequate for an American family-friendly SUV. The Lexus RX ranks near the top of the luxury medium sized SUV class for its nice ride and low anticipated cost of maintenance. The RX 350 exemplifies what many purchasers look for in a high-priced driving experience, and it must preserve its clout. However, car complaints against Lexus RX 350 have the same issues as previous models, such as a malfunctioning electrical system, a defective engine, and an unsafe fuel system. The competitors to the Lexus RX 350 are truly remarkable which are the Acura MDX, the Audi Q5, and the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class. The Lexus RX 350 car is fairly reliable blending in the segment, with only 16 complaints and 1 recall. Let's examine in greater detail the problems it has encountered thus far.

Engine and Mechanical Complaints

  • Engine: The contact mentioned that while going slow into the garage and about to step on the brake, the car unexpectedly revved forward. This was discovered to be a common phenomenon with Lexus product lines.
  • Fuel System: According to the contact, Lexus RX 350 has issues with low-pressure fuel pumps, which could cause the car to stop while driving. The RX 350 has much less than a quarter tank of gas but not enough to trigger the low fuel warning. After about 15 miles, the low fuel alert light came on.

Safety Complaints

  • Airbags: The Lexus RX 350 issues related to the airbag are quite massive. One of the complaints was that the electronic collision safety system, airbags, or emergency braking mechanism were all powered up. However, Lexus RX 350's electronic system failed, resulting in a collision alert/airbag stimulation system.

Exterior

  • Tyres: The contact asserted that Michelin Premier LTX, premature wear, and tires starting to fall apart in layers and chunks, exacerbated the front left strut on a Lexus Rx350 to fail prematurely. Tires cause oscillation, leading to the belief that there is a tire stability concern rather than an orientation problem. The tire tread is not worn out, but it would seem to be disintegrating while becoming thin and fragile. According to the manufacturer, the problem was caused by premature tire worsening, which increased the risk of tire rupture.

Dashboard

  • Electronics: The contact mentioned that the vehicle unexpectedly accelerated by itself and crashed into the corner of a Walmart shopping center while attempting to make a left turn into a driveway at approximately 10 MPH. With such an influence, the airbags implemented caused a crash.

Fuel Pump May Fail

Lexus RX 350 used owners have complained about the fuel pump failing, causing the engine to stall while driving and ramping up the risk of a crash. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling specific 2019-2020 Lexus RX350 vehicles due to a low-pressure fuel pump failure inside the fuel tank.

Toyota alerts the Lexus RX 350 car owners, and distributors will substitute the fuel pump set-up for free with a better one. Owners of particular models were informed that replacement parts would be available beginning January 21, 2021. Parts for all vehicles registered should be available by late March 2021.

Should you buy a used 2020 Lexus RX 350?

The year model is prophesied to be 84 out of 100 reliable. A J.D. Power anticipated reliability scoring system of 81- 90 is considered significant. The 2020 Lexus RX is designed to be a moderately increased car that will attract customers. The RX 350's effectiveness is satisfactory for an American family. As for its smooth ride and low predicted maintenance expenses, the Lexus RX ranks near the forefront of the luxury midsize SUV class. The RX 350 epitomizes what many shoppers seek in a high price car experience, which must maintain its influence. This is why nearly 99,873 people chose to purchase the 2020 Lexus RX 350. However, there are numerous car complaints about Lexus RX 350, a faulty electrical system, a faulty engine, and an unsafe fuel system. Lexus RX 350 is the most visually appealing model in the lineup, with an air of renowned class that will rarely be criticized.
