The exteriors of this car somewhat resemble its larger siblings, this year Jeep Compass receives a chrome grille with the revised headlights, smoked taillights, and painted mirror caps. If you are a person who likes an airy feel and sunshine then you can opt for the sunroof trim.
With optional packages, the car gets a 17 and 18-inch wheel setup, a body-color rear bumper, keyless entry, chrome accents, and additional body-color exterior pieces. The Freedom Drive II Off-Road group includes all-terrain tires, 17-inch wheels, tow hooks, underbody skid plates, and a full-size spare tire. As per my opinion for the price of around $20,000 the car should be available with body-color exteriors, 17-inch wheels, a tow hook, underbody skid plate & painted mirror caps as standard.

In this comparison, the Honda seems the lightest with only 3305 lbs of weight, and Ford and Subaru have a bigger stance than the other two. The Jeep is just a couple of inches shorter from everywhere as compared to Ford and Honda with a significantly better ground clearance, which makes it quite maneuverable. While Subra Forester is the vehicle that actually has an SUV stance with SUV feel and the highest ground clearance, but it wouldn’t be a problem for Jeep to concur some patchy and muddy roads
That said, some of the highlighting exterior features are:
- 18-inch wheels
- Chrome exterior and interior trim
- Body-color rear bumper
- Roof rails
- Fog lights
