Overview

The 2024 GMC Terrain makes for an excellent contender in the compact SUV class. With 4 trims on offer, the GMC Terrain has a base MSRP of $30,095, with prices going all the way up to an MSRP of $39.995, competing directly with the 2024 Mazda CX-50, the 2024 Honda CR-V, and the 2024 Toyota RAV4. Only a 1.5L turbocharged inline-4 engine is offered, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 9.3 seconds, the GMC Terrain maintains a combined fuel economy of 26 MPG. GMC offers the Terrain in 6 stunning colors, with the Summit White being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

The GMC Terrain feels quite outdated when you compare it against its more established rivals in the compact SUV segment. Japanese rivals like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 offer a more balanced package for the price. The GMC Terrain comes with a muscular appearance from the outside and the interior of the GMC Terrain offers plenty of space in the cabin. The acceleration feels quite slow and it is not a good choice if you want performance. The 2024 GMC Terrain does not bring any major change to the SUV. However, a complete redesign is due for the GMC Terrain soon.

            Beautiful and Lovely to Drive

            Pros - ["Color and Beauty of the outside", "The way it handles", "all wheel drive"]

            Cons - ["don't have side mirror warning for vehicles in my blind spot", "don't have the lane monitor I had on other car", "no way to move the seat belt to make it more comfortable on my neck cuz i'm short and it cuts me off"]
