Overview

The 2015 Buick Verano is a compact sedan offered in 4 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $21,065. For that price, it mainly competes with the Mazda 3 Sedan, the Kia Forte, and the Chevrolet Cruze. Between 4 trims, the Verano offers 3 powertrains. The base engine is a 2.4L Inline-4 engine mated to a 6-Speed Automatic transmission capable of making 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque. If more power is required, there is also a 250 horsepower-making 2.0L Turbocharged Inline-4 engine exclusive to the top-end Premium Turbo trim. This engine could be equipped with a 6-Speed Automatic transmission or 6-Speed Manual transmission.

The Verano reaches 60 MPH from zero in 9.0 seconds on its base engine, which gets pumped up to 6.6 seconds with the 2.0L Turbo engine. Depending on the powertrain, the Verano can manage a combined fuel economy between 24 and 25 MPG. While we’re on the topic of choices, the 8 striking colors the Verano comes in really pull you towards itself.

Buying Advice

The 2015 Buick Verano carries over to 2015 with minor changes. Among the trims on offer, we would recommend the Leather Group trim that offers a superior set of features over the base trims.

2014 Buick Verano a good daily vehicle

Pros - ["Good stereo and speakers", "Very good handling"]

Cons - ["Random parts breaking a lot", "In city gas milage is low"]

The Buick Verano is a good car for commuting to and from work. Not enough room for mutliple passangers like big families, but is very spacious for a sedan. Its a beautiful car inside and out, but it has a lot of issues. The gear shift handle is plastic so it breaks and you have to replace the whole thing or rig it to make the shifter work. The paint is like a film and just peels off of everything...

              Buick Verano

Pros - ["Good on gas!", "Spacious! Looks of room"]

Cons - ["The seats aren't leather.", "It's not WiFi capable"]

Overall I love the car. It's spacious and great on gas. I've had the car for almost 5 years and haven't had any major issues on it. Just normal wear and tear like brakes and windshield wipers. What I don't like about the car is it's has cloth seats. So having kids my seats have stains on them. It also doesn't have internet/wifi in the car like a lot of newer cars have. It does however have XM Rad...
