Overview

The 2010 Toyota Highlander is a versatile and practical midsize SUV that is designed to accommodate families and their busy lifestyles. It offers plenty of space, comfort, and features that make it a popular choice among midsize SUV shoppers. The 2010 Toyota Highlander SUV competes with other midsize SUVs like the Honda Pilot, the Ford Explorer, and the Nissan Pathfinder.

The 2010 Toyota Highlander SUV is available in four trims: the base Highlander, the Sport, the Limited, and the Limited Hybrid. The base model comes with a decent list of standard features, while the higher trims add more amenities and luxury features.

The 2010 Highlander SUV comes with a standard 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 187 horsepower. There is also an available 3.5-liter V6 engine that puts out 270 horsepower. The vehicle handles well, with good steering and braking capabilities.

The 2010 Toyota Highlander gets decent fuel economy for its class, with an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway for the base model. The hybrid model achieves even better fuel efficiency.

The interior of the 2010 Highlander SUV is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. It features a modern design with high-quality materials and plenty of storage space. The exterior is sleek and stylish, with a streamlined profile and a bold front grille.

The 2010 Toyota Highlander SUV received high safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). It comes with a standard suite of safety features, including anti-lock brakes, stability control, and airbags.

Overall, the 2010 Toyota Highlander SUV is a solid choice for families and individuals who are in the market for a midsize SUV. It offers plenty of space, comfort, and safety features, as well as good fuel efficiency and performance.

Buying Advice

For 2010, we would recommend getting the Sport trim of the Toyota Highlander. For the added bump in price, you get 19-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, automatic headlights, foglights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel along with a 3.5-inch screen that displays trip computer info and the image from the standard backup camera, and much more. We especially liked the Classic Silver Metallic, Cypress Pearl, and Magnetic Gray Metallic exterior paint schemes for the 2010 Highlander.
