Overview

The 2010 Porsche Cayenne is a luxury midsize SUV that combines Porsche's racing heritage with high-end features and design. With its exceptional performance and handling, the Cayenne is sure to impress those looking for a sports car feel in a larger vehicle. The Cayenne's sleek exterior and luxurious interior only add to its appeal as a top-of-the-line SUV. Despite being over a decade old, the Cayenne still holds up well against its competitors in the luxury SUV market.

The 2010 Cayenne competes with other luxury SUVs such as the BMW X5, the Mercedes-Benz M-Class, and the Audi Q7. While all of these vehicles offer premium features and performance, the Cayenne stands out with its distinctive styling and signature Porsche handling.

The 2010 Cayenne is available in four trim levels: base, S, GTS, and Turbo. The base and S models come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 290 horsepower, while the GTS and Turbo models offer more powerful V8 engines.

The 2010 Cayenne is known for its exceptional performance and handling, which is no surprise given Porsche's racing heritage. The base and S models can accelerate from 0-60 mph in around 7 seconds, while the GTS and Turbo models can do it in as little as 4.9 seconds. The Cayenne also offers exceptional handling, thanks to its all-wheel drive system and advanced suspension.

The 2010 Cayenne's fuel economy varies depending on the trim level and engine configuration. The base and S models get an estimated 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway, while the GTS and Turbo models get around 12 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. While these numbers may not be as impressive as some of the Cayenne's competitors, they are on par for a vehicle with this level of performance.

The 2010 Cayenne's interior is luxurious and well-appointed, with high-quality materials and a stylish design. Standard features include leather upholstery, a power sunroof, and a Bose sound system. The exterior of the Cayenne is sleek and sporty, with Porsche's signature styling cues and a distinctive front grille.

The 2010 Cayenne includes a variety of safety features, including anti-lock brakes, stability control, and multiple airbags. The Cayenne also received high safety ratings from both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Overall, the 2010 Porsche Cayenne is an impressive luxury SUV that offers exceptional performance, handling, and features. While it may not have the fuel economy of some of its competitors, it more than makes up for it with its stylish design and Porsche's racing heritage. For those in the market for a high-end SUV, the 2010 Cayenne is definitely worth considering.

Buying Advice

For the 2010 Porsche Cayenne, we would recommend getting the base trim as it comes with a fair range of features that are helpful for any and everybody. The base features include 17-inch alloy wheels, all-season tires, heated side mirrors, cruise control, eight-way power front seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, leather upholstery and a 12-speaker sound system with CD player and much more. We liked the Marine Blue, Basalt Black, and Macadamia exterior paint schemes for the SUV making it look sleek and smart.
