With its sleek design and powerful engine, the Boxster is sure to turn heads on the road. In this article, we will explore the Boxster's competition, trims, performance, handling, fuel economy, interior, exterior, safety, and conclude with a final verdict. The 2010 Porsche 718 Boxster Convertible faces stiff competition from other high-performance sports cars in its class, such as the BMW Z4, the Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class, and the Audi TT. However, the Boxster sets itself apart with its superior handling and driving dynamics, making it a top choice for sports car enthusiasts.

The 2010 Porsche 718 Boxster Convertible was available in two trims: the base Boxster and the Boxster S. The base Boxster was equipped with a 2.9-liter six-cylinder engine that produced 255 horsepower, while the Boxster S had a 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine that delivered 310 horsepower.

The Boxster's performance is one of its strongest selling points. The base model can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds, while the Boxster S can do it in 4.9 seconds. Both models have a top speed of 170 mph. The Boxster's handling is also exceptional, with precise steering and excellent grip that allow the driver to take corners with ease.

The 2010 Porsche 718 Boxster Convertible has a fuel economy of 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, making it one of the more fuel-efficient sports cars in its class.

The Boxster's interior is well-designed and features high-quality materials throughout. The seats are comfortable and supportive, and the dashboard is user-friendly. The exterior of the Boxster is sleek and sporty, with clean lines and a distinctive Porsche design.

The 2010 Porsche 718 Boxster Convertible comes equipped with a host of safety features, including stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, and front and side airbags.

Overall, the 2010 Porsche 718 Boxster Convertible is a fantastic sports car that delivers exceptional performance, handling, and style. While it may face stiff competition in its class, the Boxster's superior driving dynamics make it a top choice for sports car enthusiasts.

Buying Advice

As the Boxter only comes in a single trim disregarding the coveted S trim, there’s little room for choice. There are a plethora of different options available at a significant cost but they aren’t worth it as the Boxter already comes with many desirable features which make it perfectly suited for daily driving and much more. We liked the Aqua Blue Metallic, Arctic Silver Metallic, and Atlas Gray Metallic exterior paint options that make the Boxter retain it’s sporty yet classy look.
