Overview
Competing in the midsize SUV, the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee goes up against other notable names in the class, like the Volkswagen Atlas, the GMC Acadia, and the Kia Telluride. Spread across 6 trims, the Grand Cherokee starts off at an expected base price of MSRP $41,000 and carries on to $70,000. Not all trims are built equally, however, as there are 2 powertrains on offer. The standard engine is a 3.6L V6 motor rated for 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. With this engine, the Grand Cherokee gives you a towing capacity of 6,200 pounds. An optional 5.7L V8 is also offered, with an output of 357 horsepower. An 8-speed automatic transmission is offered alongside both engines. There is also a hybrid powertrain on offer but we have covered it in a separate article.
