The 2023 Outlander offer a significantly better cabin than its previous generations. The driver’s seat has scored good numbers in adjustments and it can accommodate even a tall and bulky grown-up. Getting in and out is easily accessible in the front and second row. The third-row seats are good for kids, as adults can lack legroom there. Lower trims do not furnish leather seats, still, they make you feel seated in an expensive car. Manual tilt and telescoping steering help the driver to go on long trips without getting fatigued. The third-row seats are easily foldable and can be converted into a bed by folding the second-row seats too. The massaging function on the higher trims enriches the ride experience. In the cold weather, the completely heated seats get absolutely toasty. The infotainment touch screen is simple and comes with easy-to-learn menus. Supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto and gets all the basic tasks done. The 6-speaker sound system is not complaining. Optional 9-speaker Bose sound assures a proper balance of lows and mids but distorts at high volume.
The fully digital instrument cluster is bright and sharp. Outlander offers various modern driving aids, but its traffic adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist work poorly. Depending upon the selected driving mode, the engine noise reaches the cabin when roaring the car at high speed. Along with the first row, rear-seated passengers are also gifted with climate controls. Despite having a length of 5-seater cars, it offers 7 seats. It has a total passenger volume of 125.5 cu.-ft. The front row dimensions are 40.6 inches for headroom, 41.7 inches for legroom, and 57.9 inches for the shoulder. The second-row dimensions include – 39.1 inches for headroom, 39.9 inches for legroom, and 55.9 inches for the shoulder. Third row – 34.4 inches for headroom, 18.7 inches for legroom, and 51.2 inches for the shoulder.

Rivalry is already classified here in 7-seater and 5-seater SUVs. The 2023 Outlander provides a more roomy interior than the 2023 Tiguan. The new Tiguan offers a mere high cargo capacity behind the third row. New Tucson and the Sportage are furnished with competitive spacious cabins. Behind the first row, the Tucson offers better cargo space while the Sportage has a larger cargo capacity behind the second row.

How Intuitive is the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Infotainment system?
The Outlander proposes an either 8 or 9-inch infotainment touch screen, depending upon the variant you elect. Most of the tasks are operated through the screen and it supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. However, the 9-inch infotainment screen provides the convenience of connecting iPhones wirelessly. The integrated navigation system works decently. The voice controls also don’t provide an enamored experience. As a package on the SE, you get auto-dimming outside mirrors. The Mi-pilot assist ecosystem provides healthy features that sometimes work poorly. Standard 6 -speaker audio system is not satisfying, but an optional 10-speaker Bose system is pretty much loud and clear.
Highlights of the Infotainment system—
- Mitsubishi connect
- HD Radio
- Wireless charging pad
- Steering wheel controls on the phone
- Integrated roof antenna
- Speed compensated volume control
- Fully digital instrument cluster
- Audio and voice recognition
- USB ports
