With the 2023 Outlander PHEV, the Japanese Domestic Market(JDM) giants Mitsubishi bring in the latest addition to the 3rd generation of the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV line introduced with the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. The latest Outlander PHEV shows monumental upgrades and improvements with the performance and efficiency on offer. The new 2023 Outlander levels up with more potent motors and a larger power reservoir in the batteries. The upgrade aims at higher efficiency and a significant increase in range.
The 2023 Outlander PHEV also shows major leaps of improvements to the cabin interiors the body exteriors compared to the previous iterations of the SUV. The current 2022 iteration of the SUV sports a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder powerplant mated with 2 electric motors one on each axle. The upcoming iteration boasts upgraded motors offering higher performance standards and a larger battery bank adding to the hybrid range of the SUV.
