The engines offered in the 2023 Lincoln Nautilus is expected to remain the same as those seen in the currently on sale model. The base trim comes equipped with a standard 2.0L Inline4 turbocharged engine which is paired with the standard eight-speed automatic transmission which generates an output of 250 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, there is an optional 2.7L twin-turbo V6 engine which when paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission generates a much better engine output of 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque.ÂÂ
The Nautilus is available with an FWD drivetrain as standard while an optional AWD drivetrain can be seen in higher trims. The base trim can complete a run of 0 to 60 MPH in 7.3 seconds while completing a quarter-mile mark in 15.6 seconds while the twin-turbo V6 engine takes one second less in completing a run of 0 to 60 MPH. Both engines seem plenty powerful, but the optional V6 is the superior choice for those who anticipate spending a lot of time on the highway and want more horsepower to pass. The high-speed operation of both engines results in silent cabins and the base engine does the job well in just all driving conditions while the standard transmission is more responsive and doesn't appear to suffer with moving nearly as much, therefore it looks to give superior performance.

2023 Lincoln Nautilus Ride and Handling
The Lincoln Nautilus prioritizes a comfortable ride above a fun driving experience, and it succeeds in doing so to a respectable extent. You won't notice most road irregularities because of the suspension, but you will still feel heavier hits. Although this Lincoln boasts quick steering, there is too much body lean for the Nautilus to give you the impression that you can let free. The majority of road irregularities are absorbed by the suspension, and the ride quality is improved with the 18-inch wheels.ÂÂ
Having said that, the Nautilus has excellent handling and Lincoln calibrated the suspension to provide a soft ride, and the dampers perform a superb job of filtering the broken pavement, potholes, or ruts. The steering is adjusted toward the lighter side, but it still delivered a reasonable level of sensation. The body is effectively handled during tight corners. The Nautilus excels in town driving due to a low level of cabin noise and a calm personality.ÂÂ
2023 Lincoln Nautilus Braking Performance
The Lincoln Nautilus comes equipped with a standard AdvanceTrac system that maintains a close watch over the rotation and traction of your wheels and it will immediately apply the brakes to that wheel to assist prevent a skid if it detects that one of the wheels is losing traction. Additionally, this system is especially beneficial for navigating surfaces like ice, snow, gravel, and dry pavement. It comes equipped with brake rotors measuring 13.8 and 12.4 inches at the front and rear. It also comes with a roll stability control feature that minimizes the chance that a car may roll over during sharp turns or evasive maneuvers, while the 60-0 MPH results are not known yet, the SUV's front and rear ventilated brakes, 4-wheel disc brakes with 4-wheel ABS, hill hold control, and electric brake enhance its competitive performance.
