Overview

Lincoln isn’t the most popular choice when it comes to finalizing a buying decision. Yet, its vehicles reek of versatility. Similar is the story for the 2018 MKC. While its exterior fascia has never been its strength, the American luxury SUV vaunts a subtle ride quality and has better features to offer than most of its competitors. It is affordably priced, but some buyers might be irked by the vehicle’s low cargo capacity and slightly cramped rear seats.

For 2018, the Lincoln MKC benefits from the inclusion of some standard and optional specifications. However, the changes are not utterly significant. Nonetheless, the inclusion of Lincoln Connect and the 4G Wi-Fi hotspot improves the functionality of the SUV. The 2018 Lincoln MKC price starts at $34,200, yet it checks the basic requirements of the luxury compact SUV class. In its segment, it competes with the likes of the BMW X3, the Acura RDX, and the Volvo XC60.

Buying Advice

In the luxury compact SUV class, the Lincoln MKC is not the most dignified option. But its affordability allows it to gain a competitive edge. It is neatly built, vaunts a refined driving demeanor, and comes with an enticing list of features. Its tranquility and reliability are top-notch, so if you are shopping on a budget, the MKC is a potent choice. However, if finance is not a cause of concern for you, then by spending a little extra, the 2018 BMW X3 will provide a better bang for the buck.
