Overview

The 2010 Honda Pilot is a midsize SUV that offers a spacious interior, a comfortable ride, and a strong reputation for reliability. This SUV is popular with families who need a versatile vehicle that can handle both daily driving and weekend adventures. The Honda Pilot competes with other midsize SUVs like the Toyota Highlander, the Ford Explorer, and the Chevrolet Traverse.

The 2010 Honda Pilot is available in four trims: LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring. The base LX trim comes with a decent range of standard features, including air conditioning, cruise control, and a six-speaker audio system. The higher trims add more premium features such as leather upholstery, a rear-seat entertainment system, and a power liftgate.

The 2010 Honda Pilot is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 250 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Pilot has a smooth ride and handles well for a midsize SUV, making it easy to drive on both highways and city streets.

The 2010 Honda Pilot's fuel economy varies depending on the trim level and drivetrain. The front-wheel-drive models have an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 18 mpg city and 23 mpg highway, while the all-wheel-drive models have an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 17 mpg city and 22 mpg highway.

The 2010 Honda Pilot offers a spacious and comfortable interior with plenty of room for up to eight passengers. The second and third rows of seats can be easily folded down to create extra cargo space, and the rear seats can be accessed with a single touch for easy loading and unloading.

The exterior of the 2010 Honda Pilot features a sleek and modern design, with a bold front grille and stylish headlights. The SUV sits on 17-inch wheels, with 18-inch wheels available on the higher trims.

The 2010 Honda Pilot comes with a range of standard safety features, including antilock brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags, and full-length side curtain airbags. Higher trims also offer additional safety features, such as a rearview camera and rear parking sensors.

The 2010 Honda Pilot is a well-rounded midsize SUV that offers a comfortable ride, a spacious interior, and solid performance. It's a great choice for families who need a reliable and versatile vehicle that can handle everything from daily commutes to weekend road trips.

Buying Advice

For the 2010 Pilot, we would recommend going up to the Touring trim. For the significant bump in price, you get all the features of the lower trims, a power liftgate, rear-window sunshades, Bluetooth, a 10-speaker audio system, a USB audio interface, and a navigation system with voice recognition and an integrated back-up camera. We liked the Alabaster Silver Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, and Bali Blue Pearl exterior paint options for the 2010 Pilot.

              Fast and fun to drive

Pros - ["Heated seats!", "Great heating capabilities"]

Cons - ["Seat material", "Sound of vehicle"]

This is a great vehicle to travel in. I definitely recommend getting seat covers. The leather seats can get very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. Heated seats for the front. Great center console compartment. Spacious and great for kids. It's louder like a truck, but very fun to drive.
