However, since the latest generation launched in 2013, the Fusion has become a solid option all around with a stunning design and comfortable interiors. Infotainment - Unresponsive and dead touchscreens were reported in several cases, leaving the infotainment system unusable.
Dead Batteries - Several complaints were made of the battery dying, even on low mileage examples.

Safety Problems

Airbags - Some rare cases of the side airbags not deploying after a collision was reported, causing injuries to occupants.
Driver Assistance Systems - Some driver assistance systems like forward collision avoidance were problematic for several owners, tracing back to an issue with the front camera system.
