2020 Ford F-350 SuperDuty

The penultimate truck of the F series comes in a variety of trims that amass all the features available under this sun. Aimed to please all demographics the trims are bamboozling and confusing, to say the least.

The XL variant shall be enough for most people’s hauling needs as the F 350 is almost twice the size of the f 150. With its sheer size and power, the basic trim shall suffice most but if you want a literal small cabin on wheels the Limited shall satisfy thy wants.

The Limited trim adds a load of features that shall fit all the features needed to make a truck pseudo luxury cabin in feel. The plush leather seats and a redesigned infotainment cluster that was revised in 2017 are some of the best in class infotainment technologically wise.

Engine and transmission

With the class-leading engine, the 6.2L engine V8 roars and the revv alone shall be able to make a dominating presence on the road. Intimidating daunting and boastful are just some of the words that may do justice to this behemoth. The V8 produces a staggering 430 lb-ft of torque whilst juicing the 385 horses present under the hood. The only minor complaint is the lack of transmission options across the whole range.

The triumphant winner of the best in class engine enjoys the pole position with only the Dodge coming close with 400 lb-ft of torque whilst having 2 fewer ponies to work with. The General Motor twins try to catch up but settle for a tie at the third position.

Acceleration

The Silverado reigns supreme in this battle of the behemoths and emerges triumphant while the others look at it in awe. The Ford F 350 performs substantially low as compared to others.

Dimensions and Weight

The longest and endowed with the largest wheelbase the F 350 looks more civil than its contemporaries. The driving is not the only trait that is attributed to the tameness of the truck. The F 350 is a force to be reckoned with and the added revisions of the 2017 generation change only bolstered the F series's 1st position. solidifying its supremacy and reclaiming the throne once again. The Regular Cab variant does not have rear seating capabilities but is one hell of a hauler none the less. There are better haulers but sheer hauling prowess combined with everyday drivability is only offered by Ford.
