Overview

The 2014 Lexus IS 350 makes for an excellent contender in the compact sedan segment. With standalone trim on offer, the Lexus IS 350 has a base MSRP of $39,615. It competes directly with the Cadillac ATS, the BMW 3 Series, and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Only a 3.5L V6 engine is offered, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission for the AWD model. Together, they produce 306 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.9 seconds, the IS 350 maintains a combined fuel economy of 22 MPG. Lexus offers the IS 350 in 8 stunning colors, with the Silver Lining Metallic being our particular favorite.

Buying Advice

There are no trim choices but at least you can select the drivetrain and transmission. Lexus offers all-wheel drive with a 6-speed automatic transmission for an extra $2,235. Furthermore, we recommend the Luxury Package with brown wood worth $3,665 if more convenience and comfort are your priority, and the F Sport Package worth $3,620 if the performance upgrade is your desire.
