The 2014 Lexus LS 460 makes for an excellent contender in the fullsize luxury sedan class. With 2 trims on offer, the Lexus LS 460 has a base MSRP of $72,140, with prices going all the way up to an MSRP of $78,440, competing directly with the BMW 7 Series, the Cadillac XTS, and the Audi A8 L. Only a 4.6L V8 engine is offered, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 386 horsepower and 367 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 6.1 seconds, the LS 460 maintains a combined fuel economy of 19 MPG. Lexus offers the LS 460 in 8 stunning colors, with the Satin Cashmere Metallic being our particular favorite.

Buying Advice

The base LS 460 trim with the regular wheelbase is what we advise. However, the higher-trim LS 460 L with a longer wheelbase is a better option if you want to spend more time in the back seats. Additionally, with this trim, the second row's center console is an optional feature that reduces the number of seats to four.
