Overview
The Buick Envision is back once again for the 2018 model year without any significant updates. As the compact crossover segment continues to grow, the Envision helps to keep the iconic brand maintain its presence in the market. The SUV gets ample safety features, excellent crash test scores, and a plethora of standard features for the price. Yes, it might lack the athleticism of the Audi Q5 or the off-roading capabilities of the Grand Cherokee but its comfortable cabin and stylish design make it a great cruiser.
Powering the SUV is a standard 2.5-liter inline-4 motor that pumps out 197 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque while there is an optional 2.0-liter turbo four-pot motor that pushes out a decent 252 horses along with 260 lb-ft of torque. The base motor feels just about adequate for city runs and relaxed highway cruising while the optional turbo powerplant fills the void.
