With its historical origins as one of the first compact crossovers ever launched, the RAV4 is still going strong all these years later as one of the best-selling models by the brand. Currently, in its fifth generation, the RAV4 offers all the usual Toyota traits like stellar reliability, high efficiency, and a spacious cabin. Mechanical Problems

Engine - In some rare cases, owners report rough idling issues with the engine, which is usually traced back to the fuel system.
