There are three trims available for the 2023 BMW X2 and they are sDrive28i, xDrive28i and the Edition Goldplay trim. However, the unique Edition Goldplay only provides the overall outlook and there is no difference in performance or body parts from the base trim of the BMW X2. Therefore, many consider this specific edition to be a package rather than a trim of the car. The main two trims, the sDrive28i, and the xDrive28i are practically the same except for one aspect - the xDrive comes with an all-wheel drivetrain instead of the FWD. Out of the two very similar trims of the 2023 BMW X2, the only difference is that sDrive28i has an FWD drivetrain while the xDrive28i has an AWD drivetrain. However, the sDrive has a better price considering that the xDrive costs $2,000 more without any additional features. Hence the sDrive28i is recommended for everyone and among the four packages, the Premium Package is the best one due to its array of features and justifiable price. The M Sport Package also offers some great improvements but they are more costly. 

Release Date

The BMW X2 for 2023 is already available in the market and one can reach the dealers for a test drive or final purchase. 

The 2023 BMW X2 is not the most fuel-efficient SUV in the market but the mileage offered does not disappoint a driver. The fuel economy on city roads is 24 MPG for the BMW X2 and the same on the highways is 32 MPG.
