The Toyota Sequoia is a fullsize SUV that is popular for its massive people-carrying capacity and considerably easy on-pocket maintenance. However, the Sequoia with its $48,400 base price and barely updated feature list did not manage to do well in terms of sales, allowing the brand to sell just over 7,300 units in 2020, which is a drop from the previous year. - Mass airflow sensor (MAF) – The users found the Sequoia to not accelerate while depressing the gas pedal and this left the occupants in an unsafe situation especially when trying to overtake other vehicles. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic who stated there were no issues found with the powertrain but when the official dealer ran a diagnosis, they were able to find a faulty MAF sensor. In the engine's intake system, between the air filter box and the throttle valve, is the mass air flow sensor. Electrical Problems
- Battery – The users stated that the SUV failed to power up after being parked overnight. Should you buy the 2020 Toyota Sequoia?
