2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Release Date 

Rolls-Royce has not made any official announcement about the launch of the 2022 Cullinan but we expect it to happen in December 2021. 

The 2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan is equipped with a monstrous 6.7L Twin Turbo V12 engine. It is rated at 563 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and the power is sent to all four wheels as standard. Despite its elephantine weight, the Cullinan accelerates with great ease and while doing so, it provides an extremely smooth and quiet ride. The Cullinan Black Badge is equipped with the same engine but produces about 600 hp for better performance. It also gets a retuned suspension and transmission system for a more spirited drive. But we think that the base Cullinan is sufficient for most users. It takes only 5.0 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph and completes a quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds. If you’re insane enough to haul stuff using a Rolls Royce, then the Cullinan has some impressive towing capacity in store for you. It can tow up to 7257 pounds.

A humongous and stupendously powerful engine along with a 3-ton weight is not exactly a good recipe for higher fuel efficiency. However, if you have enough dough to buy a Rolls, then low fuel mileage shouldn’t be of concern. The Cullinan is rated at 12 MPG in the cities and 20 MPG on the highways. This results in a combined mileage of 14 MPG which is at par with two of its rivals. However, it does slightly better on the highways than both of its competitors. 

The Cullinan is fitted with the biggest fuel tank in the segment. It can hold up to 26.4 gallons of fuel which helps it attain a better range than both the Bentagya and the Urus. However, it can’t beat the more fuel-efficient Porsche Cayenne which offers a class-leading range of 403 miles in mixed driving conditions from its 23.7-gallon fuel tank. The Lamborghini Urus loses out in the range battle with just 277 miles in combined driving condition, followed by Bentayga with 315 miles.
