Without much price difference between the base trims and the top most “3.5SR” trim, we might as well go for the fully loaded top end trim with all the tech gizmos and features.The Altima offers quite a number of features right from the base model and considering that this is the top end trim there will be more.
Its new 2.5L engine does provide an amazing response. There is a turbo option available as well for an additional $4000 and an AWD drivetrain for $1350 more. These additions make the car far more powerful than other sedans in the same range and bring it at par with the Honda Accord and the Ford Fusion. The turbo engine offers adequate low-end torque and the CVT gearbox does not disappoint either.
The five-seater sedan Nissan Altima is available in three trims, named “2.5”,”2.5 S”, and “3.5 SR”.The base trim, the 2.5 is available only on custom orders. The top end “3.5 SR” trim has an option of a V6 engine, which helps in enhancing the quality of performance of the engine.
The Nissan Altima can be customized according to the buyer’s whims and fancies with the help of optional packages such as the Special Edition Package, the Convenience Package, and the Convenience Plus Package that are offered.

The 2012 nissian altima is a great car it looks sporty and is a reliable source of transportation it gets great gas mileage and handles mountain roads and curves very well the interior is very comfortable and also looks great and is worth the price it's a very dependable form of transportation
