Overview

The 2017 Volkswagen CC Sedan makes for an excellent contender in the midsize sedan class. With 2 trims on offer, the Volkswagen CC has a base MSRP of $34,475, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $37,820, competing directly with more powerful sedans such as the Ford Fusion Titanium, the Honda Accord EX-L, and the Nissan Maxima. Only a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Together, they produce 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 7 seconds, the CC maintains a combined fuel economy of 25 MPG. Volkswagen offers the CC in 7 stunning colors, with the Fortuna Red being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

Since the top-level R-Line executive adds a lot of features just for a price bump of $3,000. We highly recommend it, as it brings in features like the panoramic sunroof, driver-seat memory settings, steering-wheel paddle shifters, leather seating, and so forth. In addition to that, you also have options between the optional packages available.
