The 2022 Lexus LX 570 has only been spied on a couple of times till now and no one has been able to get even a second-long glimpse of the interior. With major changes in the pipeline, it is quite difficult to draw conclusions from the 2021 model year as of now or even compare it to the 2022 Land Cruiser as it is the interiors and exteriors, where these two siblings gather some huge differences. The 2021 Lexus LX 570 had enough technology on offer and yet managed to have an old man’s appeal to its look, both on the inside and the outside. The interiors follow a design style which Lexus says is termed as the Shimamoku ornamentation. It means the elaborate art of alternating layers of dark and light wood veneer. We expect that appeal to be reflected in the 2022 Model as well.

*2021 data
In the 2021 models, the added cargo space coupled with the most spacious interior put the Lincoln in front of the pack again which seemed to be a recurring theme in this review. The Navigator somehow impressed way beyond, especially considering that it was the cheapest of the lot. The Lexus and Toyota though are the only ones that can offer the ability to accommodate an extra passenger. Some key features of the 2022 Lexus LX 570 (expected):
- 14-way driver and 12-way front passenger power-adjustable seats
- Perforated leather interiors
- Leather-wrapped seats
- 28 Air vents inside the cabin
- Four Zone climate control
- Dark mocha and linear espresso wood interior
- Memory seats, mirror, and steering settings
How Intuitive is the Infotainment system on the Lexus LX570
The infotainment system on the Lexus LX 570 is a massive 12.3-inch screen which to everyone’s disappointment is not a touchscreen. It sits high atop the dash and is controlled by a joystick-like touchpad located on the center console. This could be quite a hassle while driving and is like operating a computer with a mouse, you ought to have your focus on the screen to get things done. The infotainment system gets a Mark Levinson 19-speaker, 450-watt Reference Surround Sound Audio System which is fabulous. There is also the Rear-Seat Entertainment System with dual 11.6-in displays, HDMI input, and wireless headphones.
The infotainment system works smoothly with the touchpad-joystick but can never match up to the convenience of a TFT touchscreen. The in-built applications have a good user interface and are designed exclusively for the LX. Hence, the overall user experience is smooth. All the graphics are crystal clear and it is a breeze to offroad using the Multi-terrain information system which gives an HD 360-degree view of your terrain for informed driving. Some of the key features of the infotainment system are (Expected):
- Wireless charger
- Color multi-information display
- HomeLink system
- Navigation System
- Bluetooth and USB connectivity
- Siri Eyes Free
- Lexus Enform App Suite allows accessing compatible phone apps on your infotainment display
- Amazon Alexa compatibility
