... Other than that, it's the same as when I bought it. It seems the gas mileage has IMPROVED as the engine has been used. We've added 2 kids and a dog - The dog loves the hatch and the baby carseats weren't too hard to install with the LATCH positions in easy locations. It's an all-around no brainer. Great space. Torque off the line and always ready at highway speeds. Unbelievable gasRead More

And despite the car's small size, there is a surprising amount of space in the trunk and cabin. I've been able to fit multiple of my 6'0"+ friends with absolutely no complaints, and the trunk has been able to fit multipleRead More

... mileage is great, I would suggest not using the econ button, it makes driving this car boring and really takes the fun away. Heated seats work really well and the stock sound system is actually fairly decent for the price of the car. The cvt makes the ride really smooth and i've actually really grown to like it. I’m going on 72,000 miles with zero problems.Read More

Third year- the chrome trim in my interior is chipping badly (Again, I take really good car of my car. Everyone thinks its brand new.) It seems as if there is not enough sound insulation in the car, as the engine is very noisy. The 2017 Honda Civic Sedan interior comes unchanged this year considering last year's massive upgrade for a base listed price of $19,630. Having the range from cloth to leather upholstery and 5-inch along with 7-inch infotainment units on offer across the Honda Civic trim levels of LX, EX, EX-T, EX-L, and Touring, it surely boasts its cabin specs as the price goes higher.

With a cargo capacity of 15.1 cu-ft on the back, the Honda Civic 2017 interior remains one of the most spacious and practical spaces in the marketplace alongside the Mazda 3, Toyota Corolla, and Nissan Sentra. Meanwhile, its interior color palette of more than 3 shades further adds that glaring touch to its ambiance as a whole.

2017 Honda Civic Interior: Seats, Passenger Volume, Features, vs Rivals

The 2017 Honda Civic Sedan interior features an automatic climate control that eases the cabin throughout the lineup. Moreover, the Honda Civic LX interior inclines to mirror the EX-T and EX trims with its cloth-finish 6-way driver and 4-way passenger manual adjustable seats on the front row. However, it lacks a sunroof, unlike the latter two. Not just that, the EX-T ambiance upgrades those front seats with additional heated function as well, thereby, making it superior to the rest of the two.

Further exploring the interior 2017 Honda Civic brings the leather upholstered seats for the EX-L and Touring configurations that are accompanied by the leather-wrapped steering wheel & shift-knob. Also, the seating updates to 8-way power adjustability at the driver's end. But it is that Honda Civic 2017 Touring that literally makes a huge difference with its inherent extra add-ons such as the heated rear row, power passenger seats, and voice commands.

Going by the figure, the Honda Civic feels a little squeezed up in the 2nd row as compared to the Toyota Corolla as the latter has 4 inches more legroom.  But it compensates for that with 2.2 inches extra shoulder room in the 1st row. The Civic continues to own 2.3 inches better shoulder room than the Nissan Sentra as well. Apart from that, all of them are pretty much the same in dimensions.

2017 Honda Civic Infotainment: Meter Console, Display Size, and Features

The Honda Civic 2017 interior has been flagged with a 5-inch infotainment touchscreen with a 4-speaker audio system inside the LX edition. And, this upgrades to a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with an 8-speaker audio system for the rest of the siblings except the Touring trim.

Speaking of other specs, the Civic 2017 owns HD Radio & Satellite Radio with Realtime traffic from EX-T onwards. While the 10-speaker audio system and Integrated navigation system have been made exclusive for the tange-topping Honda Civic Touring. Some of the notable features have been mentioned below:

  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • 4G Wi-Fi hotspot
  • 4-speaker audio system
  • 5-inch infotainment touchscreen
