Overview

Part of the fullsize pickup truck segment, the 2015 Ford F-250 SuperDuty Regular Cab competes with the GMC Sierra 2500HD Regular Cab, the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Regular Cab, and the RAM 2500 Regular Cab. A base price of MSRP of $31,235 gets you a 6.2L V8 and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Despite the price going up to $37,795, this single powertrain is found in both trims available. This engine produces 385 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, achieving a 0-60 of 8.9 seconds, and is offered as both RWD and 4WD. The Ford F-250 SuperDuty Regular Cab offers a single 8-feet cab with a payload capacity of 3,480 pounds. It also offers a healthy towing capacity of 12,500 pounds.

Buying Advice

In our opinion, the XLT trim is the better choice out of the two trims available. There are several upgraded features available on the XLT over the base trim, including 18-inch cast-aluminum wheels, chrome grilles and bumpers, heated outside mirrors, cruise control, full power accessories, and keyless entry.
