Overview

Cars like the 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid might not be able to give you the direct benefits one might expect from its hybrid powertrain. However, its usefulness must not be overlooked. The Fusion Hybrid uses its 2.0L Inline-4 engine and a single motor hybrid system and a 1.4 kWh battery to produce 188 horsepower. This gives the Fusion Hybrid a 0-60 of 8.4 seconds. The hybrid engine here is to support the gasoline engine to boost performance and offer slightly better fuel economy than what a single gasoline engine would be capable of. That said, the 2015 Fusion Hybrid achieves a combined fuel economy of 42 MPG. As part of the midsize sedan segment, the Fusion Hybrid competes with the Honda Accord Hybrid, the Kia Optima Hybrid, and the Toyota Camry Hybrid. It offers 3 trims, starting off at an MSRP of $26,575.

Buying Advice

For more customization and driving assistance features with a reasonable price tag, the SE trim works fine. Opt for the SE Luxury Driver Assist Package and the Equipment Group 502A.

              2014 Ford Fusion SE

Pros - ["Low maintenance", "Comfortable seats throughout", "Beautiful design"]

Cons - ["Seatbelt ding is super loud", "Gas mileage could be better", "Heated seats get super hot"]

Overall the 2014 Ford Fusion SE is a super great and reliable car. I get an average of 22-26mpg which isn't terrible but could be better! It has a super sleek design which I love. The interior of the car is very simple and modest. It is a very reliable car and safe for me and my children! Maintenance has been fairly cheap and I have had no major issues since buying this car!
