Part of the fullsize pickup truck segment, the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Regular Cab competes with the GMC Sierra 3500HD Regular Cab, the Ram 3500 Regular Cab, and the Ford F-350 Super Duty Regular Cab. A base price of MSRP of $33,380 gets you a 6.0L V8 and a six-speed automatic transmission. Despite the price going up to $36,365, this single powertrain is found in both trims. This engine produces 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, achieving a 0-60 of 7.5 seconds, and is offered as both a rear-wheel drive and a 4-wheel drive. Both drivetrains are available with single and dual-rear-wheel options. The Silverado 3500HD Regular Cab offers a single 8'2â bed with a maximum payload capacity of 6,760 pounds. It also offers a maximum towing capacity of 13,900 pounds. On a side note, you can get the 6.0L V8 engine in the bi-fuel form as well but this engine is only available with the 4-wheel drive and single-rear wheel arrangement. The payload capacity with the bi-fuel 6.0L V8 is limited to 3,740 pounds.
